My aim in writing is to give a glimpse into the life of a praying entrepreneur: One who is seeking to run his business in a way that honors God, follows Jesus, and is lead by God’s Spirit. Life is not as straightforward as I hoped it would be and neither is how to live out your values in the face of challenging situations. As an external processor, I hope to processes some of those things here – possibly giving voice to those who are experiencing the same or similar things.
Like every other human on the face of the earth, I will fail you. I will do things that don’t always align with my values and my faith, and I will let you down.
In fact, no one is perfect except for Jesus. I do, however, commit to be honest and share some struggles and insights along the way.
What to expect:
Jesus wasn’t well-liked by the leaders of the day. He challenged the status-quo, spoke against the hypocrisy of his day, and ushered in a new way of living – what he called the Kingdom of God. In my weak and feeble attempts to follow him, expect to see the ways of the Kingdom on display in the software startup world. Some posts will be more business; some will be more about prayer and relying on God through the struggle. I hope you’ll enjoy both.
